Above is the Michigan State University Chapter of S.C.O.U.T. B.A.N.A.N.A. in the Homecoming Parade! Hi! My name is Alex Hill, founder of S.C.O.U.T. B.A.N.A.N.A., which all started as my Boy Scout Eagle project. Thanks for coming to see what we are doing! I'm always updating information so check back often. I want to keep you informed about the progress of the project. Please take note: I view the recognition I receive for beginning this project as avenues to further help the people of Africa. Recognition is helpful, but it is not the greatest accomplishment. The greatest accomplishment is bringing so many people together to make a difference. To that same effect the awards and honor I receive I always accept for all the people involved in making this project a success. The project never would accomplish so much if I did not have the support of so many people. The Project - To Collect & Deliver Medical Supplies, Including an Ambulance, to the People of Uganda, East Africa This is Father Joseph Birungi, a Catholic priest in Uganda, East Africa and a friend of mine. I met him in the summer of 2000 when he visited my parish and taught me to play the African drum. I just finished my Boy Scout Eagle project which will help the people of Uganda. S.C.O.U.T. B.A.N.A.N.A. believes that before any action can be taken we first need to know; we need to first understand the human situation of those we seek to help. MOTIVATE These are the stories, these are the faces, these are the forgotten ones. ACTIVATE After learning about the crisis and placing human faces on the numbers it is then time to put all that inspiration into action!
